Marketing communications planning and implementation
Lead and execute marketing communications activities for the entire business group. Those activities include promotional events such as national conventions / congresses, regional trade show activities, local conferences, exhibitions, educational seminars, and scientific meetings.
Develop, initiate and implement a wide range of product promotional activities including print ADs, online ADs, social media activities, and e-Blast.
Lead and contribute to completion of cross-business, synergy project milestones related to marketing communications.
Make adjustments or recommend enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of marketing communications area within CVG.
Communicate frequently with internal counterparts, medical societies, and external vendors to share information, status, needs and issues in order to inform, gain input, and support decision-
making related to job area.
Work with marketing counterparts for development, production, and distribution of all sales / marketing tools and collaterals to communicate value proposition of products.
This task includes basic design and adaptation of materials as well as production.
Interacts directly with marketing managers to identify new marketing communications opportunities.
Liaise with outside vendors and suppliers for booth and print production as well as sourcing effective promotional giveaways in a timely manner.
Performance tracking and communication
Effectively communicate plans, progress and results of the marketing communications activities of CVG with stakeholders including customers, global teams, sales teams, distributors and functional teams.
Measure performance and effectiveness of promotional activities to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.
Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion.
BCS / Compliance
Manage compliance of all product marketing activities with Korean regulations, including but not limited to, Medical Laws, Medical Devices Acts, and KMDIA Codes for Fair Competition, checking the regulations, obtaining approvals, and reporting to relevant authorities.
Be aware of budget constraints and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Comply with Medtronic’s Finance and Legal policies and procedures.
Work within and actively promote Medtronic’s core mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct.
May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and / or employees in the team.
Facilitate and coordinate CVG group activities and other specific duties as agreed.
