Position Summary / Purpose
Providing expert advice and technical assistance in support of Pre-Sales and Business Development activities across APAC.
Responsibilities / Main Activities
Ensure achievement of Sales targets and customer satisfaction through the delivery of the highest quality Pre-Sales technical support.
Provide demonstrations, presentations, training, consultation and sales support services for the Sales team and clients.
Work with new and / or existing clients to define their requirements, qualifying the product / service fit and defining support needs.
Assist the Sales Team with Pre-Sales activities including the development of Sales proposals.
Assist the Sales Team by providing technical content for tenders as well as assist with benchmarks.
Liaise with Product Managers to understand product direction, maintaining an in-depth knowledge of products / services and be able manage the Sales Team and client expectations.
Work with sales team to identify key market opportunities and develop demonstrations for these markets.
Develop repeatable demonstration systems and content for our key solutions, or to a specific client’s requirements.
Install software at client sites for evaluation and perform preliminary level system and user training.
Attend trade shows, seminars and user conference and be capable of presenting technical papers and presentations.
Assist the Customer Support team where required.
Assist in project work where required. Technical Solutions Challenges / Problem Solving

Qualifications and Experience Required
Degree qualification in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Ideally a good working knowledge of Intergraph’s information management solutions (SmartPlant Foundation, design tools integration).
Document management experience.

Ideally, a good working knowledge of Intergraph’s information management solutions (SmartPlant Foundation, design tools integration).
Experience in document management solutions as it applies in an Engineering environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work in a team and to work independently with key clients as required.
Confident in presenting to a group in a client environment as well as at shows and seminars.
Good understanding of the .NET Framework.
Good knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems Oracle, MS SQL Server and proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL).
Good interface and web design skills able to create professional applications adhering to modern coding standards.
Good understanding of client-server security environments and techniques.
Confident working with Enterprise client IT personnel and managers to determine system architecture and design needs.
Good project planning and specification and estimation skills, together with strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to develop realistic project plans.
Typical Experience : At least 5 years’ experience with 2+ years of Software development experience.
