The Sales Manager, Digital Pathology Solutions (DPS) is responsible for sales of Digital Pathology Solutions as part of an Integrated Cancer Diagnostics business group at Philips.

The Digital Pathology Solution from Philips encompasses scanning, storage, IT, integration, workflow optimization and analytics, with a focus on clinical diagnostics.

As Sales Manager, you will report into the Regional Sales Manager. You will have frequent exposure to senior management and ability to communicate at Philips DPS Management Team level

You are responsible for

  • Accountable for maximizing order intake, sales (including Services Contracts) and price realization within the region.
  • Strong ability to map out territory and identify market potential.
  • Drive market visibility by frequent customer visits, product demonstrations, evaluations, seminars and congresses.
  • Maintain superior relationships at multiple levels within accounts, including executive level.
  • Responsible for development and implementation of account plans and regional strategy.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate account, opportunity and funnel data via online management.ry

    You will report to the Head, Global Sales, Digital Pathology Solutions and collaborate with many other teams who are based a floor away or a phone call away in another country.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Degree level education or equivalent. Extensive sales training.
  • Strong and proven track record in Sales, preferably in more than one field and at hospital CEO / management level.
  • Experience in Healthcare IT and high-end solution sales.
  • Clearly apparent drive and passion, with intense desire for success.
  • Aspirations to grow within Philips as part of a rapidly expanding team.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written in addition to the local language(s).
  • Clinical knowledge and experience of modality / products in the IVD segment is an advantage.
  • Preferable experience with SalesForce
