Primary Purpose and Overall Objectives
Provide strategic, financial and administrative leadership for the country in all aspects of the functions including reporting, treasury, cash flow, taxation, and compliance, in close relationship with the General Manager and the management team.
In close relationship with the management, recommend and implement the best financial strategy for the business, including ways to improve the country profitability, cash generation and return on the capital employed.
Be an active and contributive business partner in building sustainable growth,
Lead the team in all financial activities including : Accounting, financial planning & analysis, risk management, internal control, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, pricing, tax and treasury;
Optimize the tools, processes and organization of the Finance department to constantly improve the insight and service level to the business;
Recruit, develop and grow talents,
Participate in the development of strategic plans and contribute to meet the strategic objectives on both existing and new business issues,
Deliver monthly analysis, forecasts, KPIs and reports to the management and to the Region so that they understand the financial and business performance,
Ensure the effectiveness, compliance and full integrity and quality of the financial information by respecting corporate & local accounting rules and the deadlines of corporate reporting,
Safeguard the Company’s fiscal situation, with the support of Group’s and Regional Tax teams and local tax advisor,
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and effective in respect with the group Internal Control rules and Code of Ethics,
Ensure coordination with Regional & Local Supply Chain and Distribution Management to follow-up the level of inventories and sell out data (sales to the end-users) of Korean Distributors.
About 8 years of experience in a senior role in a multi-national company. Prior experience in Asia-Pacific is advantageous.
Proven exposure in broad finance skills and including accounting, credit collection, legal & tax, treasury and controlling.
Good balance between strategic and hands-on.
Strong SAP knowledge, with CPA preferred. Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business strongly preferred.
Strong ability to support business strategies.
Proven leadership ability and strong team player.
Strong analytical skills, rigorous and methodical approach to complex problems solving.
Strong English communication (fluency in French is advantageous), interpersonal and cultural adaptability skills.
Ability to travel and to relocate in the future based on business needs.
