Job Description :
Field Service requires a working knowledge of commercial and general aviation aircraft maintenance. Reliability, communications skills, workmanship, and good judgment are essential traits.
The FSR will be expected to communicate effectively with Korean naval personnel from entry level through senior squadron leadership.
Must be able to develop expertise in specific disciplines including : Avionics, Electrical. Must be capable of guiding Korean naval technicians / mechanics performing minor aircraft modifications.
Essential Functions :
Examining notes or documents for hydraulic, pneudraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electro-mechanical and mechanical conditions, repairs, modifications, alterations, and / or installations performed on the airframe and / or power plant(s).
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires minimum ten (10) years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent
experience such as an aircraft electrician, aircraft sheet metal worker, or aircraft systems
Ability to read and write in English.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
