term business decisions.You will be a vital member of the finance team within the Account Receivable Product Group / Finance Service Delivery Business Line / Global Business Services Business, in Seoul / South Korea country / NAS region.
You will lead a functional work team within or Accounts Receivable (AR) focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting transactions in order to be the partner of choice for the business.
Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements. Formulate and assure effective implementation of credit policies, procedures, and standards to maximize cash flow and limit exposure.
Monitor credit reviews, accounts receivable, and serve as an escalation point regarding credit matters.Your responsibilitiesDefine operating guidelines and project tasks to ensure delivery of services to assigned business partners in accordance with service level agreements and provide first class support to the business.
Monitor accurate processing of account receivable transactions. Oversee organization and work allocation for individuals involved in processing.
Oversee analysis of accounts and highlight discrepancies / anomalies for correction, implement relevant internal accounting and reporting guidelines in compliance with external accounting regulations, identify, recommend and assist in implementation of best practice to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains.
Report KPI periodically to the local stakeholders and continue its quality improvement, along with the Accounts Receivable Manager lead Internal Control over Financial Reporting compliance and reporting for Accounts Receivable for applicable templates.
Oversee a portion of the month end close process for the Accounts Receivable area, formulate and recommend general credit policy with support from the country credit committee and assures adherence to accepted standards.
Propose credit limit and support Local Divisions on credit decisions, maintain frequent communications with sales function and perform credit review with Local Business Units on a regular basis.
Support Local Divisions in settlement of delinquent accounts when established parameters are not met.Manage all account issues involving bankruptcy and other legal proceedings.
Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinate within HR policies.

Your backgroundUniversity Degree, major in Accounting or Finance related field.10 + years of working experience in the Finance including Treasury & Credit Control, Accounting, Tax.
Working experience and SAP knowledge is preferred.Expertise in People Management is required.Strong Business Communication Skills is a must.
Native Korean is a must.Fluent in oral and written English.
